You may be asking yourself, “What is the PocketNienhouse?” Well, the answer is simple; the PocketNienhouse is a version of the real Nienhouse that can easily be accessed anywhere.
Now you may be asking, “Why does he deserve this?!” To that, I will have to say this: “According to his peers, Nienhouse is a delicious deep dish pizza covered in computer knowledge, sarcasm, and extra cheese!”
Think about that one! The world’s best pizza, in your pocket… WITH NO MESS!
The Introduction… I think I’m going to start of by sharing a little bit about me, so that y’all know who I am and where I’m coming from. So, to start off at the beginning, I grew up for the first twelve and a half years of my life in Georgia. In third grade, I met my friend Jake who really inspired me to get into computers. In 2006, my family moved out to Arizona where I’m enjoying the beautiful weather of Tucson and the ability to have snow every winter after a 45 minute drive up to Mt. Lemmon. Here I have also become interested in Web Design, Graphic Design, and Photography to go along with my general computer interests. At the moment, I’m in high school and considered THE computer geek among my friends (even though I personally don’t think I’m the genius type that they say I am – oh well).
You may ask what inspired me to make this. Well, it all happened in World History Class on Wednesday November 25, 2009 when One of my friends started talking about how it would be nice to have a good computer help guide that they could carry around in their pocket. After a few minutes of thinking about it, we decided that it would be called the PocketNienhouse and would include more that just computer help, but also some interesting sarcastic remarks and what not. However, it’s not suggested you use any of those remarks because by time you have read them, I’m sure a million other people have to, so they will be old… sorry!
Before you actually go on, I’d like you to know a few things about this project first. First off, though this is definitely not (just) a book, I will be referring to it as a book. Ex. “This book is about computers.” Second, this ‘book’ was, is, and will be created using questions and answers from/for others, and random musings I feel are relevant to the topics this book SHOULD cover. Third, if there is something you think should be expanded upon, or added to the book, please post your request in the discussion section on the Facebook page for the project. Once posted, your suggestion will be either shot down with heavy artillery or fixed and used like something at a salvage yard.
I hope this resource can assist you with your needs, and if it doesn’t… tell me and I’ll make it better! |
